LifeNotes: Week in Review

This week, I wasn’t sure what I could achieve, but luck on the non-academic side certainly had its fair share. Surprisingly, I ended up sleeping for 12 hours per day for three days straight. While I’m not proud of it, it felt like I was living a monotonous life until Anmol’s birthday came along. Meanwhile, my roommate Ahmed was studying right in front of me, completely unfazed by my lack of productivity.
I kept telling myself I was doing work-related stuff, but in reality, I was just rolling in bed and brainstorming ideas passively. I feel sad about wasting those hours. As someone who believes that sleeping is a waste of time, I find it ironic that I do it the most. Sleeping for six hours is necessary, but 12 hours feels like overkill. If we typically spend 1/3 of our time sleeping and live for 80 years, that’s over 20 years wasted on sleep. Definitely something to think about.
Health Update 🏋️♂️
Lately, I’ve been feeling heavy, and looking at my old, fatter self (insert pic) reminded me that I need to get those abs back. But now that I think about it, abs or no abs, does it really matter? People are working hard in their 20s, and this isn’t the time to focus on abs—unless, of course, you’re doing it for the opposite gender. Nowadays, people have abs at 40, so maybe that’s when I'll have mine too. The ultimate goal is to retire at 40 and live the life I want. 🌴

1. Anmol's Birthday 🎉
Anmol's birthday this year was the most expensive one yet—or at least, we tried to make it so. This time, we deserved it. It was his birthday, and he had just recovered from an illness. I even ordered him a custom-made shirt with our feelings on it, hoping it turns out great. This whole experience got me thinking about starting a clothing business as well.
Our bill has been between 10k-12k for the past three years, which is no small amount. The funny part was that Anmol chose the restaurant, and every time we asked for an expensive dish, they said it wasn’t available. We jokingly blamed it on Anmol, saying he purposefully picked those dishes to avoid the cost. The waiter's gestures reminded me of SRK from Happy New Year. My stomach was full, though, so no complaints.
We went to Kutumb—nice taste, but not everything was available. The Kutumb special thali and piña colada were the best! We drank over 10 coladas, and I was responsible for 4-5 of them. People were joking that I had found a new addiction.

2. Faceless Channel 🎥
After my friend Ashish told me he had a faceless channel with 50k subs, I couldn’t help but feel envious. I had dreamt of that, and here he was, living it. He mentioned that he had zero views for the first four months, which motivated me to make two long-form videos. I’ll continue this for three months and see what results I get.
On another note, I received a comment saying that MedLips is dead. That comment struck a nerve. I wondered if it was true, but then I watched my first video on MedLips and realized it's just a phase. I’ve dropped down to shoot higher, like a stalled market. Speaking of markets, as I predicted, Vaishali Pharma went from 158 to 163 in two days. I’m aiming for 170 and will exit in one more week.
3. Hostel Room Shifting 🏠
On Saturday, while eating anda pav at IPHB, I got the bombshell news that I have to vacate my hostel. Two long years might come to an end next week. The memories made there—sheesh. Cry ho raha he. I’ll give a dedicated update next week.
4. Winning Giveaway 🏅
Neeraj Chopra won a silver medal. I was shocked, but I had predicted the result down to the last decimal: 89.45. Because of this, PFC Club gave me a hamper, which will arrive next week.

5. Weekly Dose of Productivity 📚
I aspire to be a productivity coach, but at this rate, I could definitely be a procrastination coach. The only productive thing I did last week was read some CNS material because of my YouTube pressure. It's a prime example of positive stress. I haven’t studied this hard since my FMT finals, which were a disaster—more on that in future issues. I’m thinking of starting a new habit of writing morning pages for 10 minutes daily.
